What are you grateful for? What are you thankful for?

Being grateful or thankful isn’t just for Thanksgiving time. The bible tells us to be thankful in all circumstances, in everything, written in 1 Thessalonians 5:18

 In everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
Everything means in all corners of our lives, from the good to the bad. It’s God’s will for us. God notices when we are thankful in the tough circumstances of life. If you are going through a tough time I’m sorry, I know it hard, but lean into Jesus and thank him for it. I promise that a peace will come over you like a flood. He is so good!
Here are a few scriptures for you to snack on after your meal today:
Ephesians 5:20 Giving thanks always for all things to God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;
Colossians 3:15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also you are called in one body; and be you thankful.
Colossians 3:17 And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
Psalms 118:24 This is the day which the LORD has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
Psalms 136:1 O give thanks to the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endures for ever.
What are some of you favorite bible verses on being grateful or thankful? Would you encourage others this holiday season by adding them in the comments.

Have a beautiful celebration with family and friends!

Happy Thanksgiving, Tammy
